To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19).

In this month for Advancing, one of the areas you should pull ahead in is soul winning. This month, you must be involved actively in transforming the lives of others. Share the gospel with others! You must consciously advance in your participation in the evangelization of the world.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5).

Abraham, after helping to defeat the enemies of Sodom refused to accept any compensation from the king of Sodom in spite of his persuasive words. In his words, “I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich” (Genesis 14:23). Abraham understood that there was nothing the king of Sodom could give to him that would compare to the advantage God had given him; he had a treasured relationship with God.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).

It’s important for you to know that you have a choice in life. You don’t have to accept what life hands out to you or settle for mediocrity; don’t accept the status quo. The Holy Spirit, who is the power of God has come into your life and brought into you the dynamic ability to cause changes! If the circumstances of your life don’t favour your advancement in any way this month, you can change them! As a matter of fact, no one else can change them but you.
